Warwickshire sign Manav Suthar for two County games
India's latest Test debutant Manav Suthar has been signed by Warwickshire for the next two rounds of the County Championship.
Suthar will be available for Warwickshire's fixture against Yorkshire in Scarborough from June 12, and the following game versus Somerset in Taunton.
He made his Test debut in the one-off game against Afghanistan in Mullanpur, taking a six-wicket haul in the first innings and finishing with seven wickets in the match. Suthar earned his place on the back of strong domestic performances for Rajasthan, with 129 wickets in 29 First-Class matches.
"We're delighted to welcome Manav to the Bears. He'll bring a new aspect to our bowling attack," Warwickshire's Performance Director James Thomas said.
"It shows how highly he's rated in India after his Test selection last week."
Suthar said: "I'm incredibly excited to be joining Warwickshire. The team have started the season very well, so I'm hoping I can help them in their push for the title."
Warwickshire are currently fourth in Division One, with two wins and two draws in six fixtures.
