Williamson bows out as New Zealand's most prolific batter

A look at all the key highlights from Kane Williamson's illustrious international career.

9515 Test runs for Williamson, comfortably the most by a New Zealander in the format, well clear of Ross Taylor (7683). He averaged 54.06, the best among those with at least 2000 runs for his country, followed by Martin Crowe (45.36). Overall, he sits fourth on averages in the 9000-plus runs club in Tests, after Kumar Sangakkara (57.4), Steven Smith (56.05) and Jacques Kallis (55.37).

His ODI tally of 7256 is bettered only by Taylor (8607), Fleming (8007) and Martin Guptill (7346). In T20Is, his 2575 runs is second only to Guptill's 3531.

48 hundreds for Williamson across formats is the most for New Zealand, followed by Taylor's 40.
