ETPL open player draft registration

The European T20 Premier League (ETPL) has opened Player Draft Registration for its inaugural season. Eligible male cricketers affiliated with Cricket Ireland, Cricket Scotland, or the KNCB can register via the official ETPL website. The tournament runs from August 26 to September 20, 2026, featuring six city-based franchises from Glasgow, Amsterdam, Edinburgh, Dublin, Belfast, and Rotterdam across 32 matches.

MCA appoints Rajesh Pawar as chief selector

The Mumbai Cricket Association (MCA) has appointed Rajesh Pawar as chairman of selectors, retaining Omkar Salvi as head coach. Pawar (46) played 84 first-class games for Mumbai and Baroda between 1996 and 2013. Salvi coached Mumbai to three senior trophies in the last three seasons, though the team went trophy-less last season. For the senior women's team, Manish More is the new chairman of selectors, with Ajay Kadam as head coach. A separate Selection Committee for the Mumbai Under-23 team has also been introduced.
