New Zealand have suffered a double blow for the third Test against England at Trent Bridge, starting June 25. Matt Henry (calf injury) and Glenn Phillips (side strain) have been ruled out.

Henry picked 11 wickets in the Oval Test victory. NZ Cricket confirmed scans showed a low-grade muscle strain in his left calf, with a recovery time of two to four weeks. Henry recently became the first New Zealand bowler in 36 years to top the ICC Test bowling rankings.

Phillips, who scored a century at the Oval, felt side pain during that match. His recovery timeline is still to be determined.

New Zealand were vying for a series win in England after bouncing back from the opener. For the Trent Bridge decider, England regain captain Ben Stokes and pacer Gus Atkinson.
