Los Angeles Knight Riders secured their first win at their home ground, Knight Riders Cricket Field in Pomona, with Rovman Powell smashing a 27-ball 73 (6 fours, 6 sixes). All six teams now have 6 points each.

TSK opener Saiteja Mukkamalla scored a 55-ball 80 (8 fours, 4 sixes) after early wickets of Faf du Plessis and Rilee Rossouw. He added 66 off 55 with Shubam Ranjane (30-ball 28). Wiaan Mulder's late charge helped TSK reach 173/5, including 67 runs in the death overs.

LAKR were 59/3 in the 11th over before Powell's arrival. He smashed 6,6,4,4 off Mulder in a 22-run 14th over, reducing the equation to 60 off 6. Powell then targeted Adam Milne in the 17th over with two sixes and three fours in a 26-run over. Colin Munro remained unbeaten on 55* as Jason Holder finished the chase in the 19th over.
