Galle – Sai Sudharsan's 168, supported by half-centuries from Dhruv Jurel and Saransh Jain, gave India A a commanding 175-run lead on rain-affected Day 2 of the second unofficial Test against Sri Lanka A.
Resuming at 247/1, India added 294 runs to reach 541/8 at stumps.
Devdutt Padikkal fell for 94, six short of his century, after just one run added. Sudharsan, unbeaten overnight on 104, shared 42 with Ruturaj Gaikwad (13, retired hurt) and 78 with Jurel (54) before departing for 168.
Shaik Rasheed made a brisk 45 off 51, adding 54 with Saransh. Saransh (68*) then put on 81 with Auqib Nabi. India lost late wickets to finish strongly.
