Mustafizur Rahman gets NOC for full Hundred 2026 season
Bangladesh pace bowler Mustafizur Rahman has received a No Objection Certificate (NOC) to take part in The Hundred for the full tournament.
BCB officials confirmed the development to Cricbuzz on Saturday, adding that the board has granted him an NOC from July 20 to August 20, suggesting he is expected to be part of the tournament from start to finish. The competition is scheduled to begin on July 21.
Mustafizur is set to become the first Bangladesh player to feature in England's franchise league, The Hundred, after Birmingham Phoenix signed him at the base price of GBP 100,000 during The Hundred 2026 players' draft.
"We have granted him NOC for one month for The Hundred," a BCB official said.
BCB officials also confirmed that they have granted an NOC to Parvez Hossain Emon to play in the Global Super League after the three-T20I series against Zimbabwe, scheduled to be played in Bulawayo on July 15, 17 and 19.
Emon was picked by Lahore Qalandars, a team he featured for in the last edition of the Pakistan Super League, to play in the GSL, which is scheduled to start later this month.
