Fit-again Brydon Carse added to squad for India ODIs

Fast bowler Brydon Carse has been added to England's squad for the remainder of the ODI series against India. The 30-year-old, who had been sidelined with wrist and elbow injuries, recently returned to action when he featured in three T20 Blast games for Durham. Earlier, Carse had missed the IPL after being struck on his right-hand while training in the nets.

Carse last played for England during the New Year's Ashes Test at Sydney. His last ODI for England was back in November 2025 against New Zealand. He has played 30 ODIs so far and has picked up 34 wickets at an average of 40.44.

The two remaining matches of the series will be played at Cardiff (July 16) and Lord's (July 19).
