Pakistan to host Sri Lanka, England in busy home season

Pakistan will host Sri Lanka and England in a busy home season from October 9 to November 21. Sri Lanka will first play a three-match T20I series against Pakistan, before England joins for an ODI tri-series. Sri Lanka will then remain for a two-match Test series against Pakistan, part of the 2025-27 World Test Championship.

Sri Lanka will arrive in Pakistan on October 4 for the T20I series, with all three matches at Rawalpindi on October 9, 11 and 13. England will join for the ODI tri-series, played in Rawalpindi and Lahore from October 18 to 31.

The tri-series opener will see Pakistan face Sri Lanka at Rawalpindi on October 18, followed by Pakistan vs England at the same venue, before the action shifts to Lahore. Each side plays the other twice in the league stage, with the final scheduled for October 31 at Gaddafi Stadium.

Following the tri-series, Sri Lanka will play a three-day warm-up match in Islamabad from November 4 to 6, ahead of the Test series. The first Test is in Rawalpindi (November 9-13), and the second in Lahore (November 17-21).

This marks Pakistan's second consecutive year hosting an ODI tri-series, having hosted New Zealand and South Africa in February 2025 ahead of the Champions Trophy.
