India’s Cricket Schedule at the Asian Games (Aichi‑Nagoya 2026)

  • Knock‑out matches (men’s) have been moved 30 minutes earlier:

    • From 2:00 pm to 1:30 pm Japan Standard Time (JST).
    • This corresponds to 10:00 am Indian Standard Time (IST).
  • Women’s matches retain their original timings (9:00 am & 2:00 pm JST).

  • India’s men’s fixtures (direct entry to quarter‑finals):

Stage Date (JST) Local time IST
    Quarter‑final 28 Sep 1:30 pm 10:00 am
    Semi‑final 1 Oct 1:30 pm 10:00 am
    Gold‑medal final 3 Oct 1:30 pm 10:00 am
  • Morning games (including the first quarter‑final, first semi‑final, and bronze‑medal play‑off) remain at 9:00 am JST (5:30 am IST).

  • Other teams (Afghanistan, Japan, Nepal, Hong Kong, Malaysia, Oman) keep their original schedule; no changes for women’s quarter‑finals onward.

  • Reason for the shift: Early sunset in Japan and the venue’s lack of floodlights; men’s T20 matches tend to run longer.

  • Additional fixture: India vs Japan (non‑Games T20I) at Sano International Stadium on 22 Sep, kicking off 1:00 pm JST (9:30 am IST).

  • Asian Games window: 19 September – 4 October 2026.
