Bangladesh and Sri Lanka have secured their spots in the Asian Games 2026 semifinals after their respective quarterfinals were abandoned due to inclement weather on Tuesday (September 29).

Both matches were called off without a toss at the Korogi Sports Park in Nisshin due to incessant rain. As the higher-ranked sides in the ICC rankings, Bangladesh and Sri Lanka progressed automatically, eliminating Malaysia and Nepal from the tournament.
