A Perfect Fit
SRH had been eyeing Kishan for a while, even going as high as 15 crore in the 2022 auction. However, Mumbai Indians outbid them, and Kishan eventually joined SRH in 2024. The timing was perfect, as Kishan was yet to have his breakout season, and SRH were still building their batting lineup.
A Century in Style
Kishan's first century in the IPL was a testament to his aggressive approach. He hit 45 balls to reach the milestone, and his 25-ball fifty was a highlight of the innings. He celebrated his century by gesturing to his family in the stands and then focused on the next bowler.
A New Era of Batting
Kishan's arrival marked a new era of batting for SRH. He was encouraged to be aggressive and fearless, and his approach paid off. He hit sixes and fours with ease, and his century was a result of his hard work and dedication.
A Message from the Leadership
Kishan credited the SRH leadership for their encouragement and support. He said that the message was clear: "If the ball is there, just go for it, have your fun, have your moment." This approach allowed him to play freely and aggressively, which resulted in his century.
Conclusion
Ishan Kishan's arrival at SRH has been a game-changer for the team. His aggressive approach and fearless attitude have made him a key player in the team's batting lineup. His century was a testament to his hard work and dedication, and he is expected to continue playing a crucial role for SRH in the future.
